"No matter what part of the world we come from, we are all basically the same human beings. We all seek happiness and try to avoid suffering. We have the same basic human needs and concerns. All of us human beings want freedom and the right to determine our own destiny as individuals and as peoples. That is human nature."

I Know One Million Ways To Always Pick The Wrong Thing To Say
Watching V on ABC. Remake of the 80's miniseries. Not bad so far. Having both Inara and Wash from Firefly/Serenity in it makes me want to watch them both again. Think I need to pop those on Netflix. Why don't I own them? There is a good question. I need those.
Oh wow, it's Wednesday isn't it. So much for wordlessness.
OOOO....preview for new Glee episodes. I finally saw the Grease clip! Love it! Is it Nov 11th yet? Cause DAMN this wait on Glee is annoying. Nevermind Bones and Fringe as well. I have had my nightly TV amusement preempted and that does not make me a happy camper.
Apparently this is a stream of Starr consciousness post tonight. Lucky you! I turned off the tv cause I just could not focus on it. Listening to music instead.
Why the fuck are commercials so loud? Do these idiots not realize that we all have a mute button and that old concept of blasting their wares into our consciousness has not worked since the advent of the remote?
Sorry... that was a side rant :P
I am pondering another tattoo. Seeing that I will be in Atlanta and that my favorite and first tattoo artist is there I think I might have to get a third from Rob.
The question is what. I ponder. I ponder the mermaid that I have pondered for...let's see, it's nearly 2010 so that would be...yes 13 years. I think that means I have pondered it long enough! Of course that means finding the right mermaid. I could always go with Jezebel's (my fairy with horns tattoo) twin as a mermaid. Same artist there would be a certain symmetry in that. Now we see if any of my Blogfest friends are ballsy enough to get one with too ;)
I have decided to inflict my post titles on you all for reals. Providing I can find the songs! Today's was easy. One of my favorites from The Black Crowes, Bad Luck, Blue Eyes Goodbye. I do so love the Brothers Robinson. If you don't own Shake Your Money Maker and The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, your music collection is deficient. I give props to Kings of Leon, but The Crowes own their ass.

Give Me One More Chance And You'll Be Satisfied
Ummmm.............I got nothing folks. Seriously. Empty tank. My inbox was scary at the office. I missed both a Safety meeting and the first Charity Auction meeting. Bleh. I do, however, totally approve of the theme for the 2010 auction =)
I do have a rather interesting Thursday Thirteen coming up next week. No clue what useless crap I will exploit for Wordless. And of course we have Peace Globes this week.
Watching Basketball. I love this movie. The Matt and Trey man-kiss at the end is hysterical.
I am hating Daylight Savings time. It's dark when I get to work and it is dark when I leave the office. Yay. I have to say this winter is looking to kick my ass particularly badly this year.
Oh I DO have a spot on the charity selection committee. I, of course, will be pushing for CAP =)
OH! And guess who is coming to Seattle June 20th? That would be U2. Guess who will taking Amtrak to Seattle on June 20th? That would be me and my shadow =)

I'd Play With Fire To Break The Ice And I'd Play With A Nuclear Device
Happy November, People. Let the 2009 Holiday commercialized carnage begin!
I know that sounds cynical but I dare anyone to tell me I am wrong. The only good thing about the holidays is they tend to fly by pretty fast and pretty soon it will be 2010. Maybe this year we won't have the snow storm from hell and I can actually get a Christmas tree. Last year sucked although I must admit I had fun getting bombed and doing the live movie review.
I am trying to remember the Holiday schedule and I do believe this is my year for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Although Kidlet's dad and I are pretty good juggling so she sees all her family. Plus Turkey day is good for Pecan Pie providing I whine enough.
Kidlet is much improved after The Great Hospital experience of 09. I ended up driving the girls around last night to a couple houses although Halloween was kind of a washout because of it. The BFF was dressed as Ozzy and The Kidlet was a Brunette Britney with flip flops and a Got Ouzo shirt and her hospital armband :P They got a decent amount of candy for only hitting 6 or so houses. Watched The Orphan. Not bad but I was pretty much ready to see the supposedly sympathetic mother whacked cause she was such a douche.
Mom got us some seriously awesome jewelry in Delphi. We will take pictures and I'll post them. Karma was in play as one of the Pendants mom got me was the ancient Minoan Bee symbol. Perfect for a Peace Globe Worker Bee. Click the bee to find out more about Peace Globes.
