We had another IS "EVENT" last night where in they finished the firewall routing crap. Supposedly we can't stream music anymore although I can ;) They did nerf Yahoo messenger. No biggie, it was unstable 90% of the time as is and I never really used it. Was handy when kidlet was home at her dad's though! Oh and I will miss the amusing self delusional status messages from the Ex (BF variety) but other than that, no great loss. Email works better at the office anyhow.

** HAH! Gmail chat works so I can get kidlet that way. Speaking of which, if you want an invite for a gmail acount, holler at me**

What is NOT going to fun is discovering what new and fun fuxor'd things it has done to my program. I was told yesterday that they really didn't want me doing data entry after 6pm cause the system back up my corrupt my data. I think there are third world military Junta's out there with a better information technology platform for their workers.

Tonight is Idol and so far I have been underwhelmed. I knew when I saw Chris Daughtry that he had that certain "It Factor" and I knew Taylor and Katherine McPhee were going to go far as well. Now granted, they never showed Bo's audition and he ended up being my hands down favorite, but so far it has been a big huge YAWNFEST for me.

Speaking of Bo he is rumored to no longer be part of RCA record and he does not show up on their websites artist roster. Which pretty much disgusts me. The poor guy did the pop album Clive the Corpse wanted him to do and it went gold. It's wasn't Southern Rock, which we all know is what Bo Knows Best and what his fans really wanted. Nor did they let him use his own material which I own and can tell you kicks the ass of that Real Thing song. Add to that at least 3 emergency surgeries since Idol for intussusception of the intestine and it has been a bumpy ride. Another rumor floating around is that he may move to Country. I hope he does. I don't much care what genre his music gets call. Rock, Country, Flying Monkey Music. It's all good, to quote the man, just so long as it is actually HIS music. If you are a fan and want to get the real Bo in the meantime, get his 5 song disc Recipe For Flavor. That is what should have been on his first album, Clive. You wizened asshat.

Alrighty. Idol related rant done. The auditions tonight better bring it cause so far this season is shaping up shit :P

Back at work. Seems like I was just here? That would be because I have done 12 hour days both Sat and Sun. So really, I *was* just here. Bleh

Got home in time to watch The Alternative on VH1 Classic and man was it a good night. The Creatures, Social D, The The, Sugar, Talk Talk, The Cure, REM, and of course Sponge for whom I owe thanks for today's title.

It also looks like the rumors are true and the Police will reunite and tour. That will be a show worth seeing. If I am lucky they will stick to early Police and not cram the entire Synchronicity album down my throat. Not saying it is a bad album, just that I had it crammed down my throat enough in 1983.

Taking kidlet to Target today on my lunch hour to get her storage bins for her room. At her dad's house. Cause while it is a known fact that he could do this for her, with him it's the will that always fall short.

6 more years, Lord, 6 more years. Then I can kiss this state and the ex goodbye. Figuratively speaking cause I'd rather cut my lips off than kiss the ex or this state:P
