I mini ranted about this on Facebook but GOOD GAWD DAMN...parents who make promises to their children, that impact OTHER kids and their parents, and then bail on them SUCK ASS.
Oh and for the record not my Ex Husband. He's fine. This is a Kidlet Friend parent. Actually he is not her friend he is her bitch. See he wishes he was her boyfriend but that ain't flying in my house at the age of 14. So she told him he can't be her boyfriend, but he can be her bitch. He wisely agreed to this.
I raised her right, didn't I ladies?
Anyhow, his mom bailed on driving plans yesterday. I had to give up my lunch hour to play driver and then haul ass to the theater after work to get everyone and drive them home. I figured it is not the poor kids fault his mother is a douche-bag. Probably needed a mani-pedi/gorilla bush wax or some such shit.
*rolls eyes*
Anyhow. At work. Still behind. Finishing up April right now. Sigh. Sad part is I think that if I were allowed to work overtime for just a couple of months I could catch us up to the point where only one line of business was maybe one month behind. Rather than 4. Whatever.
Oh we are moving to a new office next year. For those of you familiar with Portland, I live in Hillboro. New office is by Prov Portland across the freakin river in North East. Can you say commute from hell? Cause I can. No more around the corner from Kidlet's dad's place for easy pick ups. On the plus side, my drive home will take me by Hot Lips Pizza which I have dearly missed. I dream of the I Learned It In Brooklyn pie on a regular basis.
Oh side note, VE has spoofed my blog! Head on over to check him out.
Alright coffee is ready and Cherry Darling is charged.
That's my iPod you perverts.
I leave you with my dedication to Douche Bag Parents everywhere.

You Know The Stripes On A Tiger Are Hard To Change
Ola Peeps, it is the Slack Queen of the blog world. On my lunch break. Cranking out a very weak post :P
I am working on the photos, however they resided on Kidlet's camera and pinning her down is easier said than done. Plus she has been a social butterfly this summer and I have been her chauffer. Spent 4+ hours yesterday...AT A MALL.
The things I do for love.
We are currently in the beginning stages of a possible record breaking heatwave. We are talking 104 for Tuesday and Wednesday after todays relatively mild 100.
**Shut up Desert I know it is hotter where you are, but I am a wimp :P **
Heat is ok actually. Cold is what I truly hate.
Anyhow Miss Social B has a date with her grandmother tomorrow and I think she is sleeping over that night as well. Thursday I get to use my lunch hour to pick her up and swing by and get her BFF and take them to yet another friends house. Once there THAT mom gets to play Taxi-Wallah to the movies. I did my turn when we got home from Hawaii, kthx!
Friday she has a sleepover/Birthday party at her BFF's and then back to her dads. I am, once again, Taxi-wallah.
So we have been busy and frankly I have been about as interesting as dry white toast lately. I think it's to the point I have blog performance anxiety. I can't get it up! Mentally of course.
Kidlet is getting more excited to start High School as it gets closer. She's been over middle school since about mid 7th grade. If she gets the classes she wants she gets to learn German. Her Semi Step speaks German so they can carry on secret convo's about the adults. Very Down Low. Get this, she likes German cause it sounds "so angry." Such a delicate flower.
I have songs a plenty that I have been meaning to share but I will start with this one, The Noisettes, Never Forget You. The Brits are really bringing it musically these days.

YES!!!
Short post, I promise I will do something more productive later. But I just saw that Marilyn Manson has been booked at the Roseland. September is looking good! Blink 182, Manson, David Cook and Placebo. Oh yeah =) We will be eating Ramon noodles and PB&J for a month but it is worth it.

Good Lord!
Need me a vacay from my vacay. First off, the Portland Airport gets FREAKIN COLD overnight. Had to buy travel blankets for Kidlet and Me. Just a quick overview until Child o Mine gets home and I can get my hands on pictures.
Honolulu I do NOT recommend to anyone ever. Over crowded. Think the Mall with sand. North Shore of Oahu was lovely though.
Now Kauai is a totally different thing. Lovely island.
I drove Kidlet and her BFF out to Detroit Lake for her summer camp out with her Dad and his girlfriend's family. Once she gets back on Saturday, we get a blissful quite stretch until we hit Cali for Green Day in August =)
