Take A Walk On The Wild Side
Christopher at Ziva is the King of All Hair Colors and Cuts. And my kid is gorgeous. She went with a gorgeous shade of ruby red. And an awesome cut!

Get This Party Started Right Now
Yesterday was the last day of school and I don't know who is more excited, me or Kidlet. I love love love not having to drive on my lunch hour. I can treadmill! Woot!
So I picked Miss Thang up from school at 11:15 and we went to Sandoval's for Mexican food lunch celebration. In addition to making into the Talented and Gifted Program for next year, Kidlet was also given President's Award For Educational Excellence. Even W and Laura think my kid is the shiz. Needless to say we are all mucho proud of the Kidlet who is all "aww shucks, leave me alone" on the matter. The plan was for highlights at Ziva and the plan called for PINK.
Had some time to kill before her hair appointment so we stopped off downtown at her old school in the Pearl District. And ya know what? I don't think they recognized her! The school was locked but we could see them having a meeting and me thinks they are clueless as to who was waving at them. Of course she looks TOTALLY different than she did even in Sept at the beginning of the year.
We spent about 3 and a half hours at Ziva with Christopher (Local people, go see him, he rocks) and when we left Kidlet's hair officially KICKED ASS.
She has better pictures of the pink but since my office is anti photobucket I will have to update that when I get home. Yes yes..I am at the office. First weekend since May 20th. I am such a slacker!
On that note...off too work :p
