OH HELL YES!!!
It just dawned on me that Weeds Season 4 starts Monday night! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! Weeds and Dexter are the best thing on TV. Now then if you have not watched Weeds (what the fuck is wrong with you?!) you MUST MUST MUST head to a video store or Netflix and get season 1-3 now. Still sitting there going "yeah yeah Starr sure whatever?" Well bite me and watch the following. Oh and if your are easily offended, blah blah blah, go away :P

I'm No Angel
Ok this song has been going round and round and round in my brain and therefore I am gonna inflict it on you. What happened to Dido? Seriously, this album was amazing and then kinda....nada.

I Am The Ghost Of Troubled Joe
Yawn
Stupid cats woke me up super early. Although I do have to leave the house at 10 today so I suppose it is ok. Mom is back from Hawaii (lucky beyotch...yeah I said it Mom!) and I am going to stop off and get coconut syrup at the store and kidlet and I are going over for presents and Hawaiian breakfast. I get to splurge every once in a while. So far with the hypnosis suggestions I am down...11 pounds. And I cheat. Hell I ate at Gustav's German restaurant! I swear to you Geoffrey is a miracle worker.
I had my second session last week and have been digesting what I learned. While we didn't work directly on losing weight, what he did do is a past life regression to see if there were any food issues. See in my family food equals love. Now interestingly enough he took me back to my babyhood to a time the biological father was feeding me and apparently I was not eating fast enough and he took my food away. Now I have had vague memories of this all my life, so it was interesting to see it in it's entirety.
Now as for actual past lives, we did go back and I was pretty much a nobody and I really didn't have "Food Issues" aka starvation, famine etc. What I did have and still do have is issues with the dread word should. As in you should do this, I should do that, etc etc. I internalize way to many peoples shoulds and totally ignore my own instincts. And that all ties into my disinclination to do things for myself other than tiramisu since everyone SHOULD eat...that is ok. I can turn rationalization into an Olympic sport. No ones fault other than mine of course as I am the one in control of what I choose to accept. And from here on out other peoples should can get fucked :P
Peace globe day was inspiring this year for the most part. Althought there are always those who indulge in the art of futility. Cop out. Sorry folks, it just is. If you really think there is nothing that can change the world, go lay down infront of a bus and remove your parasitic self.
On that note, I am looking forward to yet another charitable endeavor. It found me, rather than me finding it which is always so much nicer. As you know, I have been totally fan girling out over Mr. Cook aka Best Idol Evah. Most folks who follow Idol also know his brother has brain cancer. His fan base, which is a pretty damn cool one all in all, has been working cross country to raise money for the American Cancer Society. A group of us here in Portland and vicinity are going to get together and raise money for this years Relay for Life. Which just happens to be the day after the concert. I'll be letting you all know how you can make Starr a very happy little fangirl and donate. Our fearless leader has asked permission to use a post of mine from way back as a motivational tool. I had not read that entry for a long time. Sometimes I can write rather well. Who knew?
An Optimistic Thought
