Kidlet got to meet them at a CD signing party. They are playing the same night as the Furs. Sigh. Too many good choices coming to town. The Damned is playing as well but that is 21 and over. Damn them. HAH!
Shit it is August. I have Cali and Green Day coming right up around the corner. 3 weeks or so from now. Kidlet is beyond excited. We are spending Sat and Sun with my cousins.
We are both getting kinda antsy for school. She is dying for her schedule and if I remember right we don't get it until the very end of August. Blech.

As I had said yesterday this and the Oasis tune were about the best thing about the movie Made of Honor.
Pondering breakfast. Pondering Halloween. Pondering a beach trip. And all before I have had any coffee! I think this year Kidlet and I will do the beach for MY birthday.
Back to breakfast. I think I want scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. Coffee is done and that is good!
I keep going back and forth on being stressed about being behind. My boss seems to think we will "catch up." Without overtime I will wait for pigs to fly out my ass before I hold my breath on "catch up" talk. Somedays I care. Somedays I don't. Today is the don't kinda day.
Hmm....maybe bacon!

I have her totally hooked on Cage The Elephant.
After I left here the other day, I went over to iTunes and did a sampling of some Flogging Molly. You know what I love about Irish bands? They take the traditional instruments and make them cool. Who else would take an accordion, an Irish pipe, and a fiddle and make them kick ass? WHO I ask you?
Yes they do, Desert =) I thought you might enjoy them. They are hot live too.
I need another beach trip. So bad. My sons go back to school the 10th, and don't get their schedules till the first day of school :/
The way I figure it, just do the work you can get done in 8 hours a day and spend the rest of the time not thinking about how far behind you are. It's only work.
You've got way too much other fun stuff to spend time away from work thinking about work.
