She's A Witch Of Trouble In Electric Blue

Lordy I am not into Mondays.

WTF is Star Reynolds doing on House Hunters?!

Sorry...that just threw me for a loop. So anyhow...Mondays. Bleh. Suckage. Pissy. Dropped Kidlet off at school and then got to enjoy a fabulous commute populated with dill wads who have completely forgotten how to drive in rain. And they chose to decompensate in front of me. Joy!

And then ...work.

Gotta win the lottery. Gotta buy a ticket first. Yeah.

Hit the store on my way home from work and then got home and decided I wanted fried eggs and toast for dinner. So that is what I had. Watched Weeds as it was conveniently on at 7 (?!) tonight. That is a perk of having like 10 Showtime channels available! Season 3 is pretty darn good so far. Even the Olson twin is pretty good. And so far Season 2 of Dexter is kicking major ass. Dexter is easily my favorite show on TV. It just squeaks out Weeds. I am actually digging the plot device on Weeds that added Peter's ex wife. At first I was sceptical. But the mammogram scene won me over. And Dexter's addiction problem? Awesome! I was wondering what the plan would be on Dexter as they used the first two books for Season 1 and the third book was not out yet. So far, their original plots have been great. Showtime is, hands down, the best television out there.

Kidlet and I are reading Anne Rice's Witching Hour and doing a book club. It's kinda fun to get her take on things. Of course we have to stop reading and go look stuff up when we are unclear on the the history of something. Like Electroencephalograms.

Yes we are weird.

Please, I beg of you!! Dont mention the name "Star Jones" again. Ugh!!

LOL Matt! Now you get my WTF moment. It was thin Star Jones too so it had to be recent. I was like "where is LeeAnn Wong?!?!"

Bond honey that sounds ouchies =( My neck has been giving me issues off and on for a month. So far the only thing that has helped for real is having my Mom pop my back. Home Chiro...don't try this without a net, Kiddies! But seasons 1 and 2 of Weeds are out on DVD and Season 1 of Dexter is as well. Californication is cracking me up too. Showtime is really hitting all the marks this season!

We soooo don't watch the same television shows; then again, I won't pay for premium channels, so that explains things. I've heard good things about "Weeds," and I really like Mary Louise Parker. I imagine she does a great job in this.

I have heard of "Weeds" but not "Dexter." I will have to check that out.

I am impressed that you and kidlet are "book clubbing" together. Well done.

Had a crappy Monday, too.
"The Witching Hour" is a pretty good book, but I don't recommend the rest of the series.

Oh I have read The Witching Hour before. And the rest of the series. There ain't an Anne out there I have not read up to her recent conversion to Hack for Christ. With that I stopped. She went bonkers when Stan died in my opinion.

And I agree, Lasher and Taltos were nowhere near as good although better than the later co mingling of Lestat and Rowan.

Star was just on the NY version of House Hunters right? I hope so, because then it was a stunt casting repeat

Cinnamon Girl said...

Yup it was NY and she had long hair so it was older. It just drove on me. SHE drives on me.

Witching Hour is one of my favorite books. I love the way Ms Rice weaves in and out of her character history. IMO, this is her best book.

I am in agreement with you Trav!
